Shop Meghan Markle’s under-$60 Banana Republic dress from the Invictus Games 2023

Not everything in Meghan Markle’s closet comes with a royally big price tag.

After traveling to the Invictus Games clad in $40,000 worth of designer duds, the Duchess of Sussex changed into a much more budget-friendly look — the Banana Republic Factory Pleated Shirt Midi Dress ($59.50, originally $140) — to make a speech at the annual event on Tuesday.

And while the belted wardrobe staple is already on sale for 50% off, the price is slashed an additional 15% right now thanks to the brand’s sitewide sale.

In addition to the wear-with-anything black shade Markle wore for the event in Düsseldorf, Germany, the pleated pick also comes in white.

The former “Suits” star styled hers with a black Bottega Veneta belt and Aquazzura shoes for the occasion, which marked her and Prince Harry’s first joint appearance in Europe since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in Sept. 2022.

Markle’s no stranger to working less-pricey pieces into her wardrobe rotation, as she’s owned several of Banana Republic’s dresses, jeans and basics since at least 2017.

She’s also been known to shop brands like Madewell and J.Crew over the years, even selecting the latter label’s Cashmere Shrunken V-Neck Sweater ($138) in navy for her plane ride on Monday.

It’s not the first time Markle’s spoken at the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event held for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women. She praised her “incredible husband” in an opening address at the 2022 games.

The couple even made their first public appearance together at the event in 2017, where Markle controversially donned a ripped version of Mother’s Looker jeans ($238) — a look the “Spare” author later claimed was approved by the palace.
